Inspired by the unspoiled and charming coastal character of Chebeague, we endeavored to create a travel collection that embodied practicality, durability, and style reflective of the residents of our muse isle.
Every Chebeague Travel Bag starts in our Maine workshop with our signature recycled sail material.
Each piece of sail cloth is carefully handpicked and cut to highlight the original stitching and character marks inherent in sun-soaked sails that give all Sea Bags their coveted individuality.
Then, we select bolts of boldly colored, New England-Made canvas for the bottoms of the collection, adding further durability to our already resilient totes and bags. Finished with premium trimmings like leather straps and handles and in some cases, brass zippers, our Chebeague Collection is truly an ode to the coast we call home.
