Purpose:

Ensure Sea Bags customers receive outstanding customer service. Serve as the key point of contact for phone and email questions, comments and complaints.

Scope:

Provide support to all stores relative to customer service. Facilitate product returns, repairs, and exchanges – improving and streamlining processes where necessary. Document and report on all customer service inquiries, problems, and outcomes to measure results and successes.

Basic Function:
  • Supervises Sea Bags customer service department, ensuring best possible service to customer calls & inquiries
  • Support day-to-day retail and ecommerce operations
  • Develop & manage monthly reports including but not limited to: repairs, returns, exchanges.
  • Monitor and track common customer service inquiries; elevate to appropriate channel management.
  • Properly delegate channel specific inquiries to the appropriate contacts within company.
  • Support marketing department by accurately conveying current promotion plans.
  • Develop and maintain customer service training program for new employees.

Retail Inventory Associate

Purpose:

Sea Bags is seeking a detail oriented, organized and energetic individual who can “hit the ground running” in a fast-paced environment to manage & replenish 3rd Party inventory for our 39 retail stores as well as the warehouse stock.

Scope:

The Retail Inventory Associate will manage the 3rd party inventory of all retail store locations, including seasonal pop-up locations using our inventory management system, Shopventory. This includes facilitating weekly order and transfers sent to stores, managing the weekly inventory updates in the system, as well as ongoing item and pricing updates/accuracy. When stock gets low, the RIA will communicate with the 3rd party buyer on what is needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage 3rd party inventory levels at all 39 retail store locations and create weekly orders based on sales/seasonality and new launches.
  • Manage back-end inventory stock levels in Shopventory, including checking in orders from vendors to be distributed to retail stores from Sea Bags warehouse, new/deleted SKUs, pricing, location specific product, etc.
  • Communicate with regional managers to help guide order requests, shortages, and special inventory available. Make inventory adjustments when requested.
  • Keep records of inventory transactions; including orders received, quantity errors, manual adjustments, etc.
  • Work closely with merchandising team, and fulfillment team to ensure stores are properly stocked with product according to season launches, customer favorites and marketing initiatives.
  • Print weekly store orders for fulfillment team pick lists, work with fulfillment team to ensure orders with known shortages, work with Retail Lead in fulfillment to print final order copies and product labels for all store shipments.
  • Facilitate the transfer of quarterly inventory backstock and retail store counts paperwork for system updated.
  • Work with 3rd party buyer on re-orders when store inventory and backstock are getting low.

Purpose:

Manages retail store overseeing all aspects of store operations. Represent the Sea Bags brand in the local market.

Scope:

Leadership of the day-to-day operation of the Sea Bags retail store leading all selling, customer service, and operational functions. Ensures product levels are maintained and key out-of-stocks are communicated regularly. Motivates and manages store employees ensuring all service levels, standards and procedures are followed accordingly. Manages staffing plans, payroll hours and overall expenses to ensure costs stay at or below prescribed levels. Recruits and trains all new employees to ensure a solid understanding of company information, product knowledge, upselling techniques, and point of sale functions. Ensures the store environment and visual standards are maintained at or above standards providing a pleasant and enjoyable shopping experience for all customers and guests. Basic Function:

Scope: Stitches Sea Bags products from recycled sails as assigned by team leader. Manages time effectively on each sewing project. Maintains personal work area, including sewing machinery as necessary to keep work moving effectively. Communicates with other team members concerning problems and possible solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting materials.
  • Prepare machine by changing needles and thread and inspecting machine.
  • Sew materials together by guiding material under machine needle.
  • Adjust machine settings as necessary after observing machine operation; detecting malfunctions.
  • Quality check materials by inspecting work performed for flaws.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; noting necessary repairs.
  • Maintains materials and supply levels, noting reorder needs with supervisor, anticipating needed materials and supplies as necessary.

Scope:

Effectively coordinate with team members and internal production groups for order shipping and fulfillment including all wholesale, retail and corporate orders. Assist retail and production during busy seasonal periods. Work at annual trade shows and other outreach events.

Basic Function:

Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment.
