Wholesale Sales Administrator

Description:

The Wholesale Sales Administrator is a customer facing position to provide balanced support to the Wholesale channel. This position serves as the "anchor" to the team keeping all orders moving from the sales funnel to fulfillment to meet the department revenue goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Some of your responsibilities as the Wholesale Sales Administrator:
  • Prepare and process weekly, multi-state payroll for Sea Bags.
  • Understand the monthly sales budget and manage the pipeline report.
  • Enter all orders and distribute to appropriate players in the company.
  • Facilitate orders with our internal customers: Finance, Operations, Design and fulfillment.
  • Manage school licensing and royalty payments.
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of Sea Bags products.
  • Assist Product Development/Marketing with product entry and managing Nu-Order, our wholesale selling software.
  • Act as inside administrative liaison to our National Account and Non-Profit sales managers.
  • Assist in seasonal sales planning activities, including identifying gaps in geography for Sea Bags sales.
  • Handle all sales to school bookstores and assist on selling to specialty accounts.
Required Skills:
  • A high energy, great face/voice to our company — You will often be the first voice/face.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and knowledge of company product and services offered.
  • Be a team player and willing to support any company needs when called upon.
  • 1-2 years of experience in wholesale branded and/or private label sales.
  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Strong ability to communicate and articulate processes and instructions both orally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate both analytical and creative abilities and have an energetic spirit with a love of print, pattern, color and sustainability.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; Mastery of MS Excel
Preferred Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Purpose:

Lead a team to proactively share the Sea Bags brand story and cornerstones of the business in a manner that leads to driving sales, providing exemplary service, and the best possible brand and shopping experience.

Scope:

The leadership of the day-to-day operation of the Sea Bags retail store leading all selling, customer service, and operational functions. Ensures product levels are maintained and key out-of-stocks are communicated regularly. Motivates and manages store employees ensuring all service levels, standards and procedures are followed accordingly. Manages staffing plans, payroll hours and overall expenses to ensure costs stay at or below prescribed levels. Recruits and trains all new employees to ensure a solid understanding of company information, product knowledge, selling techniques, and point of sale functions. Ensures the store environment and visual standards are maintained at or above standards providing a pleasant and enjoyable shopping experience for all customers and guests. Supports social media initiatives and company directives. Ensures all employees are well-versed on the sail trade program.

Job Qualifications:

Stitcher Seamstress

Description:

Purpose: To meet stitching production goals and ensure Sea Bags are produced to the highest standards.

Scope: Stitches Sea Bags products from recycled sails as assigned by team leader. Manages time effectively on each sewing project. Maintains personal work area, including sewing machinery as necessary to keep work moving effectively. Communicates with other team members concerning problems and possible solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting materials.
  • Prepare machine by changing needles and thread and inspecting machine.
  • Sew materials together by guiding material under machine needle.
  • Adjust machine settings as necessary after observing machine operation; detecting malfunctions.
  • Quality check materials by inspecting work performed for flaws.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; noting necessary repairs.
  • Maintains materials and supply levels, noting reorder needs with supervisor, anticipating needed materials and supplies as necessary.
  • Document action by completing production and time studies as requested.
  • Contribute to team effort and production goals.
Job Qualifications

Must Requirements (including any physical requirements):

  • Demonstrated experience in a variety of machine sewing techniques.
  • Ability to operate with skill a variety of sewing machines including but not limited to: single needle industrial; industrial zig-zag; overlock, merrow or serger; domestic straight and zig-zag machines.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to manage time effectively.

Manufacturing Associate

Scope:

We have multiple openings for Manufacturing Associates which could include areas such as Shipping, Fulfillment, Material Sorting, Kitting, Rope Splicing as well as Sewing.

Responsibilities:

Manufacturing Associates may be cross trained in more than one area and be responsible for quality checks, sorting for shipments, tagging products, moving materials, preparing sail material for sewing, adding design details, sewing and splicing rope.
