Purpose:

Scope:
The leadership of the day-to-day operation of the Sea Bags retail store leading all selling, customer service, and operational functions. Ensures product levels are maintained and key out-of-stocks are communicated regularly. Motivates and manages store employees ensuring all service levels, standards and procedures are followed accordingly. Manages staffing plans, payroll hours and overall expenses to ensure costs stay at or below prescribed levels. Recruits and trains all new employees to ensure a solid understanding of company information, product knowledge, selling techniques, and point of sale functions. Ensures the store environment and visual standards are maintained at or above standards providing a pleasant and enjoyable shopping experience for all customers and guests. Supports social media initiatives and company directives. Ensures all employees are well-versed on the sail trade program.

- Adjust machine settings as necessary after observing machine operation; detecting malfunctions.

- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; noting necessary repairs.

General Production Utility Person

Purpose: Assist the operations manager by accomplishing a wide array of tasks daily.
Scope: Employee is responsible for a multitude of jobs within the scope of the warehouse. The employee must be able to work on multiple long-term projects simultaneously, can switch tasks quickly, and be self-directed at times.

Quality Control Associate

Description:
Purpose: To inspect and prepare finished goods to ensure items meet quality standards and are ready for shipping.
Scope: The Quality Control Associate works in collaboration with team members to collect finished product from the stitching area, apply finishing assemblies, inspect items for quality, and prepare items to move to active inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and sort finished goods from the stitching area.
- Apply finishing assemblies such as handles, hardware, and straps according to design specifications.
- Inspect finished goods for damage or defects, trimming and cleaning manufacturing artifacts to ensure a professional finish.
- Assist in stocking raw materials and housekeeping.
- Apply appropriate tags and labels as necessary.
- Accurately track and record daily production output.
- Meet output goals, cycle times, work in process and quality standards to achieve on time delivery, quality and overall shipment goals.

Customer Data Manager
Location: Portland, Maine
Description:
Purpose: The purpose of the Customer Data Manager is to utilize rich analyses and observations to recommend strategies and tactics that improve the effectiveness of customer acquisition strategies and increase the productivity of the corporate customer file through engagement, retention and reactivation.
Scope: This role will report on the health of the corporate buyer file as well as the prospects in our email file and identify opportunities for future prospecting and customer acquisition. With a pulse on the data and results as well as market trends, the Customer Data Manager will recommend and execute strategies and tactics based on behavioral analytics, data and trend analysis. Utilizing dynamic segmentation strategies and testing plans based on business goals, this role will build out the Customer Lifecycle Marketing strategy by building, maintaining and optimizing the customer journey across E-commerce and Retail channels.

Digital Administrator and Web Merchandiser
Location: Portland, Maine
Description:
Purpose: The purpose of the Digital Administrator and Web Merchandiser is to organize all tactical and administrative logistics within the Marketing Department to effectively present our products across platforms and marketplaces on all channels and allow all members of the Marketing and Ecommerce team to execute their roles efficiently.
Scope: This role has two main areas of responsibility; digital administration to support product exposure in multiple channels and strategic product and content merchandising on all platforms and channels. The successful employee in this role works under the direction of the Vice President of Marketing and Ecommerce but also collaborates closely with all members of the Marketing and Ecommerce team. This position manages every detail required to launch a product to the customer on Digital channels for DTC and Wholesale and is responsible for ongoing optimization of how the product displays and resolves on all digital channels.

Responsibilities:
WEBSITE ADMINISTRATION
- Maintain website for seabags.com as well as keeping current all feeds, marketplaces, platforms and connected databases referencing product information.
- Use Salesforce (SFCC) to create, modify, and remove products from the website to include full administration.
- Administer and maintain all product information across Marketplaces for both DTC and Wholesale channels including: Amazon, Nu-order, Faire. Updates to seasonal Linesheets and Lookbooks are the responsibility of this position including publishing and distribution of revisions.
- Department coordinator for all product launches for websites, marketplaces and platforms and act as liaison to secure photo samples, product copy, and SKUs. Schedule and traffic all creative assets necessary for launch of products across channels.
- Copy edit and at times, copywrite product copy for Vintage, Limited Edition and Fast To Market product launches.
- Manage the Clutch Gift Card platform and issue cards for shipment
- Support the Digital Marketing Specialist on Search Engine Optimization strategy execution on the website. Collaborate on available tools and tactics within the website and marketplaces.
- Contribute to website and email testing efforts.
- Marketing liaison for all Customer Service inquiries.
- Active member of the Social Media Team in Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and Instagram platforms for with oversight from the Marketing Manager. Make recommendations on tactics, execute posts and facilitate customer engagement. Also participate in extensions into other social properties as they develop.
WEBSITE MERCHANDISING AND SITE OPTIMIZATION
- Leverage the full suite of tools available in the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFRA) and make recommendations to optimize the website in an effort to capitalize on web site traffic.
- Utilize the SFRA AI/ML technology to enhance our merchandising strategies and make recommendations on dynamic content opportunities.
- Optimize onsite search using Einstein and manual search optimizations
- Scan and test seabags.com for broken links, page load time issues, and regular updates needed for changing content areas or new marketing efforts.
- Audit marketplaces and platforms for optimizations using tools when available such as search extension, site merchandising, and personalization.
Job Qualifications

- Experience with product database platforms like Salesforce, Magento, or Shopify desired.
- Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Passion for digital marketing and social media; knowledgeable about social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and LinkedIn.
