Job Description:

This is a multi-faceted position, responsible for interaction with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints, as well as coordinate repairs, returns, and exchanges.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • • Confer with customers by telephone or in person in order to provide information about products and services, to take orders or cancel accounts, or to obtain details of complaints.
  • • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
  • • Resolve customers' service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, coordinating repairs, and adjusting bills.
  • • Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems.
  • • Contact customers in order to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments.
  • • Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.
  • • Determine charges for services requested, collect deposits or payments, and/or arrange for billing.
  • • Complete forms, prepare change of address records, and make notes on customer records using computers.
  • • Obtain and examine all relevant information in order to assess validity of complaints and to determine possible causes.
Knowledge

Customer and Personal Service -- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • • Equipment operations and maintenance

  • • Operate sail laundering equipment
  • • Understanding sail quality standards
  • • Perform quality sort and organize as directed
  • • Prepare shipment of materials as directed
  • • Perform various die cutting duties as required
  • • Assist in inventory counts as required
  • • Operate designated light manufacturing equipment (e.g., laundry, die cutter, grommeting machine)

Cleaning/Organization
  • • At least weekly, organize warehouse space to maintain a clean and neat workspace

Marketing Specialist & Production Lead

Marketing Specialist & Production Lead

The qualified candidate will have a broad understanding of print and online advertising, production scheduling and some experience managing print production. The Marketing Specialist & Production Lead will facilitate account management with our advertising partners and drive the efficient scheduling of work while maintaining strict deadlines. Additionally, this position will play a key role in the growth and development of the Marketplace Strategy for both Sea Bags and Chart Metalworks.

Functions & Responsibilities:
  • • Support VP of Marketing in online marketing strategies and tactics working with Brightcloud Marketing. Specifically supporting paid search, social advertising, datafeed marketing and marketplaces.
  • • Tactical management and optimization of all Marketplaces to include at minimum Amazon, Ebay and Rakuten. Key point of contact with Accounting, Operations and Fulfillment at Sea Bags and Chart Metalworks regarding Marketplace commerce.
  • • Traffic all of the department’s design and creative production utilizing Basecamp adhering to schedules and approval processes.
  • • Manage coordination of print advertising to include researching media and markets, recommending publications for consideration, placing insertion orders, obtaining ad specs, submitting invoices and tracking ad costs.
  • • Manage printing needs for marketing collateral to include soliciting competitive print quotes, managing print quality, distributing materials and managing print inventory and reprints.
  • • Contribute as an active member of the Social Media Team on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Snapchat and Instagram platforms for both brands with oversight from the Content and Social Media Strategist. Make recommendations on tactics, execute posts and manage customer engagement. Also participate in extensions into other social properties as they develop.
  • • Manage the upkeep of the Promotional Calendar-solicit updates from marketing team members.
  • • Manage advertising promotion of syndicated content using Outbrain.
  • • Support the Sales Team and Sail Trade group in Trade Show and Boat Show events in coordinating assets, giveaways, and managing email name collection. Also coordinate production and updates to marketing materials needed.
  • • Retail Store liaison for Site Updates, Collateral & Signage needs, and Email name acquisition targets.
  • • Contribute to website and email testing.
Requirements:
  • • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

  • • Proven ability work effectively within a cross-departmental team
