Functions & Responsibilities:
  • • Social Media Management: Primary manager of all social media platforms to include Facebook, Google Plus, Pinterest, Twitter, Snapchat and Instagram.
  • Make recommendations on tactics, execute posts and manage customer engagement. Also participate in extensions into other social properties as they develop.

  • • Passion for the digital medium, social media and consumerism

  • • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing or communications from a four-year college or university
  • • Comfortable with and knowledgeable about social media, online marketing and Public Relations
  • • Proficiency with Excel
  • • Has 1-2 years of experience in web content management (preferred)
  • • Experience with Google Analytics and social media platforms (preferred)

Staff Accountant

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
  • • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
  • • 2+ years experience as an accountant or bookkeeper
  • • Working knowledge of accrual based accounting
  • • Hands on experience with Quick Books (or other accounting software)
  • • Experience with MS Excel
  • • Comfort working in a small, casual and faced paced office environment

Sea Bags, the authentic designer and manufacturer of handmade items from recycled sails located on Custom House Wharf in the historic, vibrant city of Portland, is looking for a full-time Production Associate to join our growing team. This is a multi-faceted position, responsible for performing a variety of tasks to assist in the production team in making products.

General Job Description: This position entails coordinating and assembling materials for producing products. As with all positions in our small, growing company, this position requires a high degree of flexibility, and responsibilities in addition to manufacturing duties may include assisting with customer service, shipping, etc.
