TD Beach to Beacon Auction Tote:
Mile Marker 1

Recognized as one of the premier running events in the USA, the TD Beach to Beacon draws runners from across Maine and elite runners from around the world. Starting in 1998, the race had an impressive roster of over 2,400 runners in its inaugural run, a number which has swelled to nearly 7,000 in recent years. Each mile of the 10K course was marked with a recycled sail cloth banner from Sea Bags. The banners were stitched with a large navy number on a nautical chart background of the Casco Bay area with a blue line tracing the race course.

Immediately after the race, each of the seven banners are signed by Joan Benoit Samuelson and the elite runners who raced in the event. Then, the banners are disassembled and sewn into large sustainable tote bags. These totes will be auctioned online with 100% of the proceeds going to the 2025 race beneficiary: Best Buddies.
