A sun with a face known as the "Sun of May" or "Sun in Splendor" has been a symbol seen in heraldry and flags since the Middle Ages. The points on the sun are alternating straight and curvy representing light and heat respectively. The sun design on this bag wraps all the way around, making a shining statement. Finished with hand-spliced hemp rope handles, navy canvas interior with white contrast stitching, hanging pocket, and metal clasp, this tote is truly unique.
