Shipping Information
All Sea Bags are handmade in Maine.
Some of our most popular bags have been handcrafted in advance and are "in stock and ready to ship," while others will be crafted at the time you place your order. In an effort to minimize packaging waste and environmental impact, your entire order will ship once all items in your order have been produced, even if one or more of the items in your order is "in stock and ready to ship." Our delivery partners will then deliver your order in within 7 business days depending on the destination and shipping method.
Please note that all custom design orders must be approved by the customer before your order can move forward in production. We thank you for your patience as we handcraft your one-of-a-kind Sea Bags tote.
When will my order ship?
Due to required manufacturing time, all orders are shipped within 2 weeks from the order date unless all items in the order are listed as "in stock and ready to ship." If you would like guaranteed overnight or two-day arrival of an order, all items in an order must be "In-Stock & Ready to Ship." All "in-stock and ready to ship" orders are shipped the following business day from the order date.
For any orders containing a full custom design product, there is a lead time of approximately up to 3 weeks for design and manufacturing. We can ship these orders via expedited methods, but we cannot expedite production required to design and produce handmade custom products.
Shipping Methods and Times
Sea Bags ships via FedEx, UPS, or USPS and the carrier selected for your shipment is based on the package destination, size, and weight of the package. Delivery will occur Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States.
Ground Shipping - Delivery in 2-7 business days based on the destination. Standard USPS Priority Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is 3-7 business days based on destination.
2nd Day Air – Delivery within 2 business days. Available throughout the continental U.S., and only guaranteed on items marked "In-Stock & Ready to Ship"; please allow for 1 business day for processing before shipping.
Next Day Air – Delivery as early as 10:30 am the next business day. Available throughout all 50 states (except certain areas of Alaska and Hawaii), and) and only guaranteed on items marked "In-Stock & Ready to Ship"; please allow for 1 business day for processing before shipping.
Please note; orders that contain items on backorder are shipped within 2 weeks regardless of ship method due to manufacturing time. Other restrictions may apply based on delivery location.
Orders are only processed and shipped Monday-Friday. If you place your order on Saturday, we will not process the order until the following business day (excluding federal holidays).
Shipping Destinations
We ship to the contiguous US States via FedEx, UPS and USPS Delivery.
Alaska and Hawaii Standard Delivery ships via USPS Priority. We also ship to PO Boxes in the US using USPS delivery only. We do not ship to APO/FPO addresses.

Ship-to-Store
Ship-to-store options are available to select Sea Bags retail locations. Options may vary based on season. If you have opted for ship-to-store pick-up, orders containing items that are "in stock and ready to ship" will ship with the next scheduled selected retail store product fulfillment shipment. If an item in your order requires manufacturing, the entire completed order will ship with the next scheduled selected retail store product fulfillment shipment after the quoted 2 week production timeframe. Shipping times vary on store location and are typically delivered to the retail store within 7 business days of being shipped. You will be contacted by a member of our store's staff via phone and email once your order has been received and is available for you to pick up.
While this option is free of charge, it may not always be the fastest method to receive your order. Standard production and shipping lead times still apply.
Free Shipping Promotions
Free Shipping Promotions ship via Standard FedEx Ground, UPS Ground, and USPS Priority Shipping to the contiguous 48 States ONLY. They are not combinable with any other offer.
Shipping Changes
If an address change occurs prior to your tote being completed and shipped and the resulting change creates an obligation for state sales tax to its final destination, please be advised the original purchaser is responsible for any state sales tax due as a result of the address change.
