Handmade in Maine from Recycled Sails
Maine Bicentennial Beverage Bucket
Maine's 1901 state flag is not only historic, but full of maritime meaning. The North Star has long been a navigation tool for sailors and the pine tree made our state's unique flag recognizable from great distances. Even the flag's background color had meaning, it was meant to resemble the buff color of George Washington's 1779 Continental Army uniforms. Fill the center with ice and you've got a collapsible cooler showcasing your Vacationland pride. Melting ice then escapes through the brass grommet hole in the base of the water-resistant recycled sail cloth.
