We were drawn to the evocative watercolor technique of a local Maine artist and their striking interpretation of the “cotton candy” lobster – so rare only 1 in 100 million are caught. The tones and details are exquisite. Lobsters are a beloved symbol of Maine and we share a working wharf with lobstermen in Portland—so the creature is close to our hearts. The artwork is carefully printed on recycled sails then handcrafted into a durable wristlet that can be used as purse for nights out or to keep small item separate and easy to locate in a larger bag.
