It would be difficult to find a tote more steeped in nautical history and distinction than this—crafted with the sails of the mighty windjammer S/Y Tiziana. Greek for “great one”, Tiziana is an apt name for one of the legendary yachts of the 20th century. Built by Abeking & Rasmussen and launched in 1963, Tiziana was one of the very first sailing yachts over 30 meters.
During years cruising the waters of the Mediterranean, the Tiziana hosted royalty, celebrities, and world leaders in business and politics. In the 1980s, she circumnavigated the globe on an epic journey of two and a half years and 25,000 nautical miles. Totally restored and updated in 2006, she continues to host unforgettable journeys as one of the most luxurious sailing yachts in the world.
This pedigreed Tote brings together the rich history of sailing, sail making, and handcraftsmanship. Each bag in this limited edition features an embossed leather Tiziana medallion and rolled leather handles. An interior hanging pocket features a numbered sail cloth patch celebrating the story of the Tiziana. A zipper closure and antique brass hardware finish the look.
