Antique Casco Bay Map Tote
If you had been sailing your sloop into Portland Harbor, Maine in 1893, this map would have been your guide. We found this colorful chart in the archives of the National Geological Survey. The bright colors and artistry of this early map tells a story of travel by ships, trains and horse and buggy. At the center of it all, is the Portland waterfront, where this durable tote was crafted by hand from recycled sails. Printed on recycled sails.
