Notes from Our Intern Mallory: Dancing is a Must

I’m a senior at Gould Academy in Bethel, Maine and have been working as a three week intern with Sea Bags on my vacation.  I only have about one week left with everyone here and I’m sad to have it all end so soon. Everyone here has taught me so much on how to make the hard work we do extremely fun. For one, dancing is a must. Grooving and working happens to work out very well together, who would have known? Now, the music is always great and I never would have guessed that P. Diddy was a favorite.

With all the fun and funny things that go on, the things that need to get done, get done. I have to go on to say that lunch breaks are my absolute favorite, not because I’m not working, but because I get to connect with the women. It amazes me how much work each individual does. Not only that, but the fact that the sails are sailed all around the world before they come to us is so cool! It is also really cool to think that each bag that I’ve touched, or worked on, will be bought by someone…and I helped!
